SECURITY, FIREWALLS and INTRUSION DETECTION

As your company increasingly relies on the internet and on network services, both you (the user) and your business become increasingly vulnerable to external attacks and intruders. Security breaches can also compromise your customers and your suppliers.

Protect yourself. Protect your company. Protect your sensitive information. Protect your relationships.

Hardy Networks will work with you to determine the best alternatives. We will completely configure the firewall device(s) to meet your needs and specifications then install the device into your network.

Our services include:

  • Configure the firewall environmental settings specific to your location.
  • Ensure the most current firmware release is loaded.
  • Define network settings for the LAN, WAN and DMZ port.
  • Implement network access services and filters.
  • Enable user management, encryption and event logging.
  • Test filtering functionality based on your security requirements.
  • Activate / Deactivate features required on the firewall.
  • Perform a backup of the final firewall configuration and firmware.
  • Note: VPN configuration is handled as a separate service. See Next Section.

Upon the completion of the installation and configuration of the firewallwe will also:

  • Provide a Graphical Network Diagram that makes it easy to visualize your network. [ sample | sample ]
  • Provide a hardcopy of the Firewall Configuration. This document can be used to quickly reference the firewall settings.
  • A customized CD-ROM will be provided that includes the documents mentioned above, along with a firewall backup and a copy of the latest firmware.
  • Once the firewall is fully implemented, we will perform a series of three Network Vulnerability Assessments.

We are confident that you will find our configuration service helpful and accurate. If the configured firewall does not meet your network or ISP requirements we will do whatever is necessary to make it right.

REMOTE ACCESS, TELECOMMUTING and VPN
As you and your company harness the power of the internet, take advantage of Virtual Private Networking (VPN). A VPN connection is secured with powerful encryption standards to provide a secure link to remote networks.

Internet-based VPNs provide many of the same benefits as frame-relay networks but at a much lower price.

These VPN connections allow you to:

  • Connect remote offices to a central location, or to each other!
  • Share resources at these remote locations.
  • Using VPN Client software to connect to the office while you are at home or on the road.

Combine security measures with a combined VPN / Firewall router. Our sales staff can help your team determine the correct equipment and configuration for your company. Contact us at (210) 313-1110 or at sales@hardynetworks.com

WIRELESS NETWORKING
Wireless networking can increase productivity. New PDAs and Laptops often come with built-in wireless network cards. Harness their power with a WiFi network. Go Wireless!!
